A hearing was scheduled at the GZU Main Campus on Wednesday (5/11/25), but the accused did not show up.
Investigations are currently underway.
The Charity Assistance Fund is a school based initiative designed to support students struggling to pay their tuition fees. While every student is eligible to apply, selection is based on academic merit and good conduct.
To qualify for the fund, a student must have a clean disciplinary record, no failed modules and must provide their previous university results. The university then reviews the application and depending on the available resources, covers a portion of the student’s tuition.
In Jori’s case, the university paid USD 315 out of her total 600 USD fees. The fund does not cover full tuition but offers partial assistance to ease the financial burden on deserving students.
