Silveira High tops Masvingo Diocese O Level results

MASVINGO-Silvera High School Bikita District has the best 2025 O Level Zimsec results for Roman Catholic Church run school in Masvingo Diocese which stretches up to Beitbridge.

Silveira has an impressive 99.53% pass rate with 214 out of 215 candidates passing five subjects and above. The Bikita based school had a massive 114 candidates that scored 5As and above. The best student had 17As.

Diocese Education Secretary, Sr Annah Bondeka confirmed the results. Sr Bondeka added that the results reflect progress and highlight areas requiring support.

Gokomere High is second with a 97.3% passrate and 33 students scored 5As and above. The school had 149 candidates and 145 passed five subjects and above. The best candidate had 12 As.

Gutu based Mukaro High is third with a 96.5% passrate. The school had 168 candidates and 162 passed five subjects and above with 37 students scoring 5As and above. The best student had 11As.

St Anthony’s is fourth with a 92.04% passrate. The Zaka based school had 226 candidates, the biggest enrolment for all schools in the Diocese. 208 students passed 5 subjects and above with the best student scoring 11As and 2Bs. Fifty-nine students passed 5As and above.

Berejena High is fifth with an 81% passrate which jumped from 71% in 2024. The school had 151 students and 122 passed five subjects and above. The top pupil at the Chivi school had 9As while 15 candidates scored 5As and above.

Another Chivi based school, Nyaningwe is sixth with a 73.4% passrate. The passrate jumped from 56.07% in 2024. Nyaningwe had 169 candidates and 124 passed five subjects and above.

The best student had 8As and 2Bs and 16 candidates scored 5As and above.

Sacred Heart is seventh with 63.92% passrate which increased from 46.25% in 2024. The school had 97 candidates and 62 passed five subjects and above. The best candidate had 8As and 2Bs with four scoring 5As and above.

Mutero High is eighth with a 60.8% passrate that fell from 72.3% in 2024. Mutero had 120 candidates and 73 passed five subjects and above, The best pupil had 6As, 2Bs and a C. Four scored five As and above.

Nandi Secondary is ninth. The school only had 24 candidates and 14 passed five subjects and above. The overall passrate is 58.3%. The best candidate scored 4As, one B and 4Cs.

St Mary’s makes the top 10 with a 56.7% passrate. A total of 150 candidates sat for the exams and 85 passed five subjects and above. The best candidate registered 9As and 3Bs with 12 registering five As and above.

Shingirirai with a 40% passrate is the 11th best school in Masvingo Diocese. The school had 109 candidates and 65 passed five subjects and above. The best student had 4A, 5Bs and one C.

Makambe follows closely with a 33.9% passrate. The school had 109 candidates and 37 passed five subjects and above. Two pupils scored five As and above.

Bondolfi is 13th with a 29.58% passrate. A total of 71 candidates sat for the exams and 21 passed five subjects and above. The best candidate had 4As and 4Bs.

Soti Source has a 23% passrate. The school had 39 candidates and nine passed five subjects and above. The best candidate had 4As and 5Bs.
