MIDLANDS-Professor Thomas Marambanyika has been elected into the ZIFA national executive board during the elections held at the HICC on Saturday last week which also ushered in Nqobile Magwizi as new president.
Prof Marambanyika was the ZIFA Central Region Soccer League vice chairman before his elevation to the national board.
The Central Region responded by making changes to the executive board with Pithias Shoko replacing Marambanyika as the vice chairperson of the board.
Dulibadzimu United chairman Ephart Shoko comes in as the board member development while former Sheasham chairman Malvern ‘Giya’ Paradza is the new board member marketing and administration.
Long serving administrator Pithias ‘Governor’ Shoko takes over as the vice chairman from Professor Marambanyika.
