ZVISHAVANE-Premiership debutants Sheasham FC need to find their scoring mojo when they meet Castle Lager Premier League reigning champions FC Platinum in the much anticipated Midlands derby at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane this Saturday.
This will be the first meeting between the two clubs in the Premier League following the promotion of Construction Boys to the elite league this year from Division 1.
The Construction Boys are now under the tutelage of former FC Platinum title winning coach, Lizwe Sweswe.
Sheasham are on position 16 from 15 games having amassed only 14 points after registering a single win,11 draws and 3 defeats.
The Construction Boys’ strikers who are goal shy have to sharpen their boots as they have only managed 6 goals thus far as opposed to the defenders who have only conceded 12 goals.
Their opponents, Pure Platinum Play are on position four with 26 points from 16 games. They have two wins, two draws and a loss in their last five games.
Sheasham FC chairman, Reginald Chidawanyika said they need to score goals at their former home ground.
“We are playing good football, but goals have been hard to come by and that needs to be remedied”, he said
