Sheasham held as Hardrock close gap

MIDLANDS –The ZIFA Central Region Division 1 Soccer League log leaders Sheasham FC dropped their first points of the season after being held to a goalless draw by Blanket Mine FC.

However they are still on top of the log by goal difference above second placed Hardrock who made light work of Matobo with a 2-0 score line.

They both have 16 points after six games played with Hardrock yet to concede a goal having scored eight. Sheasham are the league’s top goal scorers with 15 goals and only conceded two in the process.

Gwanda Pirates saw off Dinson Mvuma by a solitary goal with Chapungu seeing off West Nicholson 3-0.
