HARARE – An unfortunate own goal by Triangle United defender Blessing Chiota in added time saw Scotland FC walking away with all the three points this afternoon at Rufaro Stadium.
The Luke Vahombe Masomere coached side had held their own but a miscommunication between the goalkeeper and defender saw them leaving Harare with nothing.
The win eventually came for Scotland in a scrap match as they were expected to finish off the visitors with no sweat considering the type of business they did during the off season.
The money bags won’t care how the goal came by as they will be top of the log awaiting other matches to be played over the weekend.
Vahombe acknowledged that his lads did well in the match and it was unfortunate not to walk away with a point.
