MIDLANDS – Dulibadzimu United FC are still the Ruvimbo Funeral ZIFA Central Region Division 1 Soccer League log leaders after nine rounds of matches despite losing 2-1 to Shabanie Mine FC away at Maglas Stadium.

The loss was their first for the season which means Tongogara FC, Sheasham FC and Kwekwe United are the only unbeaten teams in the league so far.

The Beitbridge based side top the log with 18 points thanks to a superior goal difference to Tongogara who dispatched Chapungu.

Sheasham saw off Gokwe North 7-0 for the biggest win of the matchday to sit third on the log with 17 points.

Kwekwe United dropped points away at West Nicholson FC after a nil all draw but are fourth with 17 points.

Things are looking bleak for Black Eagles FC who were thumped 4-1 by FC Wangu Mazodze City as they are still  at the bottom of the log.
