ZVISHAVANE-Action returns to the Ruvimbo Funeral Central Region Division One Soccer League on Saturday September 2, 2023.
The league took a break on July 15 ,2023 after the completion of matchday 13.
Central Region acting vice chairperson, Dr Thomas Marambanyika told The Midweek Watch that all is set for the league to resume the second half of the season.
TelOne FC currently top the table with 30 points from 12 matches as they still await a decision over their abandoned game against Shabanie Mine FC aka Chinda Boys. FC Platinum U19 are second on the log with 26 points.
The log leaders will face Blanket Mine FC in a potential blockbuster match at Ascot on Saturday.
The pick of the matches on matchday 14 will be the Zvishavane Derby between Shabanie Mine FC and Loss Control FC. The match ended 1-0 to Loss Control in the reverse fixture.
Second placed FC Platinum under 19 will tackle ZPC Munyati who walloped them 5-2 on the opening day and would want to restore parity.
Marambanyika said all is set for the games to roll.
