RUTENGA, MWENEZI-Hilbra ECD Centre located at Rutenga Growth Point continues to soar to greater heights through offering exceptional educational standards.

The educational institution which is nestled in the fast sprouting western suburb, Kumhiri Kwenjanji is proving to be a force to reckon with in the educational fraternity given its unmatched levels in kindergarten education.

HILBRA, which had a humble beginning in 2022, with a tiny enrollment of only four learners has been growing in leaps and bounce, as parents are attracted to the school due to its quality education as evidenced by an ever growing enrollment currently at over fifty learners for ECD A and ECD B classes.

The eye catching environment at HILBRA tells the story, neatly painted classroom block, decorated with kindergarten teaching and learning drawings offers a symbiotic relationship between the young learners and their school yard as they can be seen learning on their own. This is buttressed by a well-equipped playing center.

In its quest for excellence, in line with the standards of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (MoPSE) HIBRA ECD Centre is water secure with a borehole which supports the institution’s 24/7 uninterrupted water supply, hence enhancing hygienic standards.

This year, HILBRA had a successful trip to Great Zimbabwe Monuments, where the young learners had a first hand account of the country’s history. It is this level of planning which has seen the institution being an envy of many parents.

Ward 18 Councillor, Tawanda Muza hailed the directors of HILBRA ECD Centre for contributing towards the transformation of Rutenga Growth Point through offering quality education. “l am proud of HILBRA for offering quality education and partaking infrastructure development at the school.” weighed Muza.

Rumbidzai Nhara, a senior resident of Rutenga Growth Point saluted HILBRA Management for ensuring that young learners in the newly growing suburb of Kumhiri Kwenjanji have a school nearby.” Before the establishment of this school, parents were taking their kids to schools across the railway line, which are far but now a school is in their backyard.” commended Nhara.

Co-director of HILBRA ECD Centre, Hildah Muzenda Chauke is satisfied with the progress at the school, highlighting that due to the parents’ support the institution had realised tremendous development. “Our parents keep us moving, because of their trust and support we have gone this far. We promise more fireworks as we educate the leaders of tomorrow,” shared an overjoyed Chauke who went on to share the future” Next team we will be taking our learners to National Computer Competitions in Harare, and we also have plans for constructing a state of the art classroom block.”
