BY DOROTHY BELLA TAMBARA MAHASO
In the intricate tapestry of life, love often plays a central role. It’s a force that can lift us to incredible heights or, when lost, plunge us into the depths of despair.
For those who have experienced the loss of a spouse through divorce or death, the idea of love the next time around can be both tantalizing and terrifying. But there’s hope, and there’s faith, and there’s a path to navigate this journey with grace.
I’m MumCoach Dorothy Bella Tambara nee Mahaso, a compassionate life and mindset coach, and I’m here to shed light on a subject that’s close to my heart – guiding high-achieving Christian singles over 30 towards the promise of love once more. I know firsthand the complexities of love, loss, and finding love again.
The Landscape of Love After Loss
Many high-achieving Christian singles find themselves in unique circumstances. They’ve tasted success in their careers, achieved remarkable feats, and nurtured their faith. Yet, somewhere along the way, love slipped through their fingers.
It might have been a painful divorce, letdown or the heart-wrenching passing of a beloved spouse. The result is often a profound sense of loss, confusion, and even guilt.
These singles yearn for love and companionship but wonder if it’s possible to find a partner who shares their faith, values, and busy lifestyle. They’re cautious, and rightly so. They don’t want to compromise their hard-earned career momentum or their deeply held beliefs.
FLAME: Igniting Hope and Faith
This is where FLAME steps in. FLAME isn’t just an acronym; it’s a beacon of hope for those seeking love and faith after loss. FLAME stands for “Finding Love After Moments of Emptiness,” and it represents a transformative journey.
The FLAME Convention, taking place from the 24th to the 26th of November in Cape Town, is a gathering of kindred spirits – high-achieving Christian singles who’ve walked through the fire of loss and emerged with their faith intact. It’s a safe haven for those who desire not only to rekindle love but also to align it with their faith and career ambitions.
Our convention is more than just a meeting; it’s a transformative experience. It’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with others who’ve faced similar challenges. It’s a chance to discover proven systems for balancing a successful career with a rich personal life.
The Power of Pre-Remarital Counselling
One of our central missions is to advocate for pre-remarital counselling, particularly for circumstanced singles. We believe that by providing guidance and support before entering a next marriage, we can significantly reduce divorce rates. Our goal is ambitious yet achievable: to bring divorce rates in next marriages down to 25% or less.
Hope for the Future
In the columns to come, we’ll delve deeper into the intricate dynamics of love, faith, and career for high-achieving Christian singles. We’ll discuss the unique challenges they face and the solutions that FLAME offers. We’ll explore the incredible stories of transformation within our community, and we’ll give you a glimpse into the programs and initiatives that are making a difference.
In a world where next marriages are increasingly common, it’s our mission to ensure that they succeed. Love, faith, and career need not be mutually exclusive. With the right guidance, support, and a touch of grace, high-achieving Christian singles can indeed find love once more without compromising their faith or careers.
Join us on this journey of rekindling love beyond loss. There’s hope, there’s faith, and there’s FLAME.
