BIKITA-Rehabilitation works have commenced along the Mutare–Masvingo Road near Nyika Growth Point, marking a significant step toward improving the province’s roads network.
The works include resurfacing the damaged 17km stretch road, which had become riddled with potholes and had large sections washed away over time.
Masvingo Provincial Roads Engineer, Augustine Chigwereve, confirmed the development to The Midweek Watch and urged all motorists to exercise caution and patience while driving through the construction zone.
He emphasized the importance of adhering to road signs and safety instructions to prevent accidents and ensure the smooth progress of the works.
