ZVISHAVANE-Reigning Premier Netball League (PNL) Champions Platinum Queens kept hopes of a third successive title alive after securing three victories in their last bubble matches.
The games were played at Bethany Netball court in Zvishavane on Saturday.
They outclassed Beitbridge Border 51 -12 before securing a narrow victory 34-28 over ZDF and finally clobbering Lupane 40-0.
The result means the Zvishavane based side is now second on the log with 50 points from 26 games, two points adrift from the log leaders Ngezi Platinum who have played a game more.
The Platinum teams are on toe to toe for the title with only a single loss to their names in the second half of the season.
The results were confirmed to Midweek Watch by the PNL chairperson, Sarudzai Chapo who said all the games went well and were played according to schedule.
Other results at Bethany Netball court saw ZDF defeat BB 62- 25, before a 40- 0 thumping of Lupane who suffered the same scoreline defeat against BB.
Ngezi Platinum defeated Black Rhinos 36-17. Mutare City beat Zupco 49-15 before suffering a 53-10 loss to Ngezi. Ngezi then outclassed ZUPCO 65-7 to cement their place at the summit of the table.
