Platinum Queens maintain top spot

ZVISHAVANE – Reigning champions, Platinum Queens have maintained their grip at the summit of the Premier Netball League after close rivals, Ngezi Platinum dropped points.

Ngezi suffered a 39-30 loss to Greenfuel before another 37-34 loss to ZDF.

The results mean that Platinum Queens who were off duty on Saturday are still at the summit with 58 points from 30 games played.

They lead second placed Greenfuel by six points however the Chisumbanje based side still have three games  in hand as they have played 27 games.

Ngezi slipped to third with 52 points but still have a game to play.

The PNL results and log have been confirmed to The Midweek Watch by the PNL chairperson, Sarudzai Chapo.

The way things look at the top, the title fight is among the three teams, Platinum Queens, Greenfuel and Ngezi as they interchange to lead the log.
