It was the State’s case led by Beverly Chatindo that on 02nd September 2025 and at Nyangani FM studios in Nyanga town, Muhowa allegedly assault popular presenter Yolanda Simango (31) by slapping her once on her face using an open hand.
“On 2 September 2025 at around 0930hrs and at Nyangani FM studios, Muhowa called Simango whom he accused of having sprayed unknown anointing oil at the main gate and also that she had falsely reported him to the Human Resource Manager.
“Muhowa acted as if he wanted to take some keys which were at the Nyangani FM cottage door where Simango was standing and instead, then allegedly slapped her once upon her face with his open right hand,” prosecuted Chatindo.
Simango sustained painful face as a result of the assault and a medical report was presented in court as evidence.
