Nonagenarian, Huruyadzo’s mother laid to rest

CHIVI-Stoneshed Chikambure aka Huruyadzo’s mother Edeth Chikambure who was promoted to be with the Lord at Noraz Surgical Clinic in Masvingo City was laid to rest at her homestead in Mabwe Village under Chief Madhlangove, Chivi.

Stoneshed owns several retail shops and bars dotted in Masvingo Province trading as Huruyadzo.

Hundreds of mourners thronged the Chikambure homestead to pay their last respects to a respected great grandmother in the Chivi community.

Gogo Chikambure was 96 and she died on February 1, 2025, and was laid to rest on Tuesday.

Stoneshed described her mother as a principled woman, devoted Christian, full of love, kind and a philanthropist.

“With a heart full of faith and compassion, Gogo Chikambure has dedicated her life to her family and the community at large.

“Her unwavering commitment to her values has inspired countless individuals, and her legacy will continue to touch lives for generations to come,” said Stoneshed.

Gogo Chikambure is survived with 10 children, six boys and four girls, 53 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
