Ngundu – A constable stationed at Nyahombe post under Ngundu Police Station in Chivi is in the eye of a storm for allegedly clearing two stray cattle without following due process.
The constable whose name was not disclosed to this publication by a source allegedly cleared two stray cattle belonging a villager who went on to report the matter to his superiors and CID Renco are seized with the matter.
The Midweek Watch has also been informed that the cop is likely to be transferred or arrested if there is incriminating evidence against him.
The matter happened in Muzvidziwa area, Gunikuni, a villager who added that such scams were rife in police circles and are they are getting away with it.
