BUHERA – The newly elected ward 19 Councillor for Buhera Rural District Council ,Taurai Matiza was sworn in on Thursday in a full council meeting held at the local authority’s boardroom.
Buhera RDC Chief Executive Officer Dr Emily Chibvongodze presided over the swearing-in ceremony of Ward 19 Councillor Matiza who was elected on a Zanu PF ticket.
Matiza was elected during the February 2024 by-elections and the election came after the passing away of former Buhera RDC Chairman, Alderman Ngoni Musakaruka who was elected as Ward 19 Councillor in the August 2023 general elections for a second time.
