New twist to Yeukai kidnapping case

MASVINGO-Two suspects accused of attempting to kidnap a child at Yeukai shops have been granted US$200 bail each by the High Court Judge Sunsley Zisengwe.

The matter was initially heard at the Masvingo Magistrates Court but the accused were not successful, and they appealed to the High Court which granted them their wish to be tried while coming from home.

The High Court ruled in favour of the accused and granted the two suspects bail set at US$200 each who were represented by their lawyers.

Mutume Mukai stood in for the state.
