The group, led by team leader Zvikomborero, performed an extraordinary routine to the tune of “Rusununguko,” an independence song composed by their teacher, Mudzimba Tawanda.

The pupils’ energetic performance, dressed in traditional rugs and imitating the guerrilla warfare tactics employed during the struggle, left the audience in awe. The guest of honor, the Minister of State FOR Masvingo Province, Ezra Chadzamira, was impressed by the group’s talent and awarded them a cash reward of $100.

Mudzimba Tawanda, the visionary behind Magnificent International Arts, which grooms young pupils in the arts, expressed pride in his students’ achievement. “Their performance was exceptional, and I’m thrilled to see them excel,” he said.

Trainers Mrs. Mbewe and Chikamhi also commended the pupils’ dedication and hard work. The crowd was particularly left speechless by Zvikomborero’s impressive final dance act, which showcased the group’s exceptional talent.

The Nemanwa Primary School dance group’s outstanding performance is a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing young talent and preserving Zimbabwe’s rich cultural heritage.
