BIKITA- Ndlela Nhire Dynasty Family Trust is set to bring life to the Hanyanya Mountains in Bikita with an educational tour set for July 24 and 26.

One of the event organisers Marius Munorwei Zibgwi confirmed the development to The Midweek Watch in an interview.

“Ndlela Nhire Dynasty Family Trust in association with Mutsimba Headmanship presents Hanyanya, Utombe educational tour.

“This is a family experience to learn and preserve the origins, history, identity, culture and traditions of Mtombe people,” he said.

He said the annual event which is expected to draw audience from all over the world is expected to pay homage to Mutsimba headmanship and donate either in cash or kind.

He said the event is designed to learn about the culture and traditions of the Mtombe clan and acquire historical knowledge with the aim to raise funds for community development.

Hanyanya Mountain is an iconic site and home of the Mtombe people.  The mountain is also a dwelling place to the mysterious ‘harugwa’ bug, a traditional delicacy to the local community.  The entire course is lined up with some of the country’s most stunning and breathtaking views.
