MASVINGO CITY-Ndarama High School in Masvingo has recorded commendable results in the 2025 ZIMSEC Ordinary Level examinations with 86.5 percent pass rate, reflecting the school’s continued commitment to academic excellence.

According to the official results analysis released by the school, 234 candidates sat for the O-Level examinations, 110 were male while 124 were female.
The analysis shows that 198 candidates passed five or more subjects, demonstrating a strong overall performance.
Notably, 102 candidates attained five or more subjects including English Language, while 95 candidates passed five or more subjects including both English Language and Mathematics, a key benchmark in O-Level performance.
In terms of higher achievement, 92 candidates passed six or more subjects, with 57 candidates managing six or more subjects including English Language.
Furthermore, 43 candidates passed six or more subjects including both English and Mathematics.
The school also recorded encouraging results at the top end, with 52 candidates passing seven or more subjects, and 37 candidates passing seven or more subjects including English.
A smaller but significant number, 13 candidates, passed seven or more subjects including both English and Mathematics.
Speaking on the performance, the school Head Oddy Matongo expressed satisfaction with the results, applauding the hard work and dedication of the learners, the commitment of the teaching staff, and the unwavering support from parents and guardians.
He noted that the results are a strong foundation upon which the school will continue to build on, with renewed focus on improving passes in English Language and Mathematics.
