Ndarama celebrates impressive O level results

MASVINGO CITY-Arguably the best non boarding school in Masvingo Province, Ndarama High has once again proven its mettle as a centre of academic excellence, recording an impressive 81.8% pass rate in the 2024 Zimbabwe School Examinations Council O Level exams.

The school’s performance, which represents a 3.5% increase from last year’s 78.3% pass rate, is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the students and staff.

Ndarama head, Oddy Matongo, confirmed the results to The Midweek Watch saying a total of 314 students sat for the examinations, comprising 172 males and 143 females, Of these, 248 students passed five subjects and above, while 179 candidates managed five subjects including Mathematics and English.

“We are thrilled with the results, which demonstrate the hard work and resilience of our students and staff, as a school, we have always strived to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence, and these results are a testament to our efforts as we strive to beat our previous best,” said Matongo.

Matongo attributed the school’s success to the collaborative efforts of the students, teachers, and parents.

“We are grateful for the support of our parents, who have been instrumental in encouraging their children to strive for excellence,” he said.
