Bothwell Mhara (57) a teacher and resident of Village Kure 2, was found dead at Musaverima Primary School in Mwenezi on April 5.
ZRP Masvingo Province Spokesperson Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa said that the deceased had gone to the Musaverima business center at around 6:00 AM, however, he failed to return home by midnight.
As the night wore on, his wife, Sakina Dziva(54), grew concerned, she called him, and he reassured her that he was almost home, but he never arrived.
The worried wife confided in her mother-in-law, Janet Mharakurwa(78), who quickly sprang into action, she dispatched her grandson, Ashton Shava (22), to search for Bothwell.
Shava’s search led him to a cottage house, where he found Bothwell’s lifeless body hanging from the roof, the news spread rapidly, and Justin Chauke(58), the headmaster of Musaverima Primary School, was informed.
The Neshuro police took Bothwell’s body to Neshuro District Hospital Mortuary for postmortem.
“Let’s share challenges in life, there is no life without challenges, but look for solutions,” said Inspector Dhewa.
