MASVINGO-Mutendi Primary School has improved its Zimbabwe School Examinations Council Grade 7 pass rate from 80.9% in 2024 to 85.1% in 2025 a 4.2% increase.

Out of the 94 learners who sat for the exams, 54 were boys and 40 girls.
Mutendi Primary School Head, Geofrey Muchokoti attributed the progress to strong teamwork, close supervision, parental support and a conducive learning environment.
“We worked hard together as a team. The support from parents was encouraging, supervision was tight and our management and resources made it all possible,” he said.
