Murambina Town Board has opened a new look convenient bus terminus for the residents and visitors as well as vehicles connecting to Beitbridge, Chivhu and Nyazura.

The recent opening of the renovated Murambinda bus terminus has brought a sigh of relief to travelers and the local community, who have expressed their gratitude to the Town Board for the initiative.
The renovation project, which commenced in early 2025, has transformed the bus terminus into a modern facility, complete with state of the art toilets.
In an interview with The Midweek Watch, Buhera Residents Network Trust Director, Leonard Mabasa said the revamped bus terminus has made a significant impact on the community, travellers as well as the value of the urban set up.
“We really appreciate the efforts of the Murambinda Town Board in upgrading the bus terminus. It’s a major relief for travelers and vendors, who can now enjoy improved sanitation and security,” he said.
He further highlighted that the upgrade has also benefited women, who dominate the informal trading sector in Murambinda.
The Murambinda bus terminus is a critical transportation hub, with a large fleet of buses passing through daily, connecting various destinations, including the Birchenough Bridge and the project has not only improved the travel experience but also contributed to the overall development of Buhera District.
The upgrade of the bus terminus is also expected to have a positive impact on public health, particularly in the prevention of diseases such as cholera.
