Nothando Gugulethu Sibanda, (7) grade 2 pupil at Victoria Junior Primary School in Masvingo, is on a mission to represent Zimbabwe at the Miss Toto Africa pageant in Cairo, Egypt, on April 12.

Nothando, who was crowned Miss Toto Africa Zimbabwe last August in Harare, is seeking sponsorship to cover the costs of her trip to Egypt, estimated at $4,300.
Nothando’s manager and coach, Tajae Mwenda, expressed confidence in the young model’s abilities.
“We believe Nothando has what it takes to make Zimbabwe proud at the Miss Toto Africa pageant,” said Mwenda.
The young model, who is the last-born child of the Sibandas of Rujeko B, Masvingo, is not only passionate about modeling but also runs a disability plight project, which she started with the help of her parents.
This is not the first time a Zimbabwean model has excelled at the pageant. Last year, Delish Masango, a former student of Victoria Junior Primary School, was crowned second runner-up in the Miss Toto Africa pageant held in Nigeria.
Nothando’s family and management team are appealing to well-wishers to support her journey to Egypt, where she will compete against other young models from across Africa.
