Over 35 golfers have already confirmed their participation, with expectations of reaching 80 golfers still high.

He also mentioned that the event will also include fun activities for families, such as a jumping castle, eating competitions, and entertainment from popular solo musician cum comedian Steve “Dhongi” Makoni.

“Several sponsors have already pledged their support, including M-Link Pharmacy, Dabhuka Village, Byword, and we are expecting more to join us as the event nears.

“We are thrilled to host this golf tournament and family fun day, which will not only bring our community together but also support a worthy cause, the construction of the Bishop’s House is a priority for our diocese, and we are confident that this event will help us raise the necessary funds,” said Mapika.

“We invite all golfers, worshipers, families, and supporters to join us for a fun-filled day of golf, entertainment, and community bonding. Together, we can make a difference and support the growth of our diocese,” added Bishop Mapika.
