Mnangagwa stop taking us for a ride!

Date:

Mnangagwa Must Be Serious!

How do you award failure? It’s a joke for ZanuPF President Mnangagwa and cabinet to award Minister of Transport and Infrastructure as the best.

Felix Mhona (left) who was adjudged the best minister at a ceremony held at state house on March 24, 2025.

What special things has he done?

Rural roads have lost count when road maintenance unit was attended to.

Urban roads are in deplorable and irreparable state.

They are just untrafficable.

Drumholes are our roads. Tourists mocked Victoria Falls road by resting in potholes and you go on to reward such a failure, may be you are taking turns to reward mediocrity.

The Minister was awarded for having no single functional railway line. Some of the railway lines are no longer available or seen because of tall grass.

How can sober minded and serious leaders award a Minister for having no air transport. Airports established during the colonial era are yearning for traffic.

Our airports are the worst in the region. Mnangagwa must be serious or he is out of touch with the issues on the ground as he exhibited during the shameful presser with Harare editors recently where he asked if we have a passenger train between Harare and Bulawayo, a sign that he is out of touch with reality, God help us.

Some bridges which were washed away during Cyclone Eline two decades ago have not yet been repaired. Why then label him the best Minister.

Infrastructure include sporting facilities. The Warriors are playing soccer in foreign land because we have the best Minister of Transport and Infrastructure.
