Caroline Murinda, the Miss Zimbabwe winner in 1982, has died, aged 65 years old.
She died on Tuesday afternoon at a South African hospital, where she was receiving treatment.
Family spokesperson, Michelle Mukunda confirmed the sad news.
“She died today after being hospitalised in South Africa.
“She was staying there with her family, and we are still awaiting further details regarding her burial.”
Mukunda added:
“The elders are currently deliberating on her burial arrangements, and I will provide you with more information once it becomes available.”
