Mimosa social league takes break

ZVISHAVANE – The Mimosa Mine Social Soccer League has taken a holiday break and is set to return to action in the second week of January 2024.

The league took a break after 13 rounds of fixtures played.

Boltrec FC lead the table with 32 points after thrashing Ventilation Fc 4-0 in their last match before the break although they are still to play one more game than the rest of the teams.

They are yet to lose a match and are seven points clear of second placed Plant FC who are on 25 points from 12 games played.

Plant FC drew 1-1 against Loss Control FC in their last match.

MHL FC have leapfrogged Loss Control to third place despite losing 3-2 to Mhondongori FC as they have 24 points while Loss Control have also the same number of points but have an inferior goal difference.

FC Holding are also on 24 points but were also beaten to third place by goal difference.

Mine Planning FC anchor the table as they are yet to register a win in 13 matches with only two draws.

A message from the organizers on the break read; “Good day team.

“Kindly note that we are not going to have our wellness soccer games starting this weekend up to the second weekend of January, our break for the festive season. The games in hand will be played there after”.
