CHIKOMBA-Incumbent MP for Chikomba West Constituency who is also the Deputy Minister of Health and Child Care, Dr John Mangwiro was forced to redo his campaign poster following a story which appeared in The Midweek Watch.
The story exposed Dr Mangwiro as he claimed on his campaign poster for Zanu PF primary elections that he used his own money to carry out projects in the district when they were done using devolution funds by the Chikomba Rural District Council.
The Deputy Minister claimed to have built Madamombe Clinic, Mashayamvura Clinic, Shanda Clinic and Penfather Clinic on his posters, although they were built by the RDC using devolution funds.
In an about turn this week Dr Mangwiro has redone his campaign poster minus the claims that he built several clinics for the Constituency.
When contacted for a comment Dr Mangwiro was not picking his cellphone until the time of posting the story.
Dr Mangwiro is being challenged by former ZBC TV Studio 263 popular actor, Tatenda Mavetera in the weekend ruling party primary elections.
