MIDLANDS – Newboys in the ZIFA Midlands Province Division 2A league Jame West are set to receive their trophy on Wednesday when they play MSU Zvish fc for their last game of the season.
The Mberengwa based side hold a six point lead over second placed Shurugwi Fc after receiving a 3-0 walkover result over Baobab.
Despite Shurugwi Fc dispatching Chachacha Fc 4-0, the writing is on the wall for the Yellow machine boys to be crowned champions.
They are set to achieve what Mbesa and Great Dyke failed to do which is bringing D1 football to the other side of Mberengwa.
The fixture against MSU will only be the only match to be played during the midweek.
