ZVISHAVANE – Mimosa Mine Social Soccer League Champions MHL are finding their mojo back after a chaotic start to the new season with a 7-0 demolition of Mining North.

The result saw them rise from 11th to fifth position on the log table after nine rounds of matches played.

They trail log leaders Boltrec with six points. MHL have 17 points from nine matches with five wins, two draws and two defeats in their name.

Boltrec drew one all against Loss Control to maintain a three-point gap over their opponents who are third behind second placed Plant FC. Plant FC, who trail log leaders via a superior goal difference beat HR Cluster 2-0.

Community sits fourth with 18 points after a convincing 3-0 win over Transport.

Newsboys FC Holding walloped Estates 5-1 to sit on position six having played a game lesser with 17 points, one above Estates in seventh place.

Mine Machines defeated Copper Kettle 1-0 while Ventilation won 2-0 against Mobile Equipment.

Mine Planning forced a nil-all draw against Mining South to collect their second point of the season and are still anchored at the bottom of the log.

25 goals were scored on Matchday nine.
