He added that, “this could include initiatives such as providing access to clean water, creating job opportunities, and providing access to education and healthcare.
“We also need to ensure that these initiatives are tailored to the specific needs of the community, and that they are implemented in a way that is sustainable and equitable. Additionally, we need to ensure that leaders are held accountable for their actions and that they are creating long-term solutions that will benefit the community in the long run rather than election based solutions”.
Vhengere added that among other issues he is going to undertake long term projects like; road rehabilitation where he is going to engage the age old District Development Fund and Gutu Rural District Council to get graders and provide fuel to necessitate the long overdue program.

“I am going to engage POTRAZ to deal with issue of network connectivity, erecting mobile telecoms boosters especially in areas such Chepiri, Chin’ai, Mutombwa, Kurai, Makura, Mvimvi and Nyazvidzi etc.
“This also brings in the issue of information communication networks.
“The advent of the new curriculum has prompted the need of Internet connection hence the need to accelerate provision of network connectivity in these remote areas through engaging Mobile network service providers. In this vein I will also, as usual assist in providing ICT gadgets like computers in schools even setting up computer laboratories”.
Since women and youth constitute the majority of the populace Vhegere said he will carry out projects for them in order to facilitate self sustainability eg poultry projects, fish farming etc.
Vhengere said senior cictizens will not be left behind as he will ensure that; “food aid blankets etc senior citizens are undoubtedly very patriotic and have a cultural and consistent voting track for the ruling party. There is therefore need to maintain the grip.
“Through philanthropic works like borehole drilling, donating school uniforms, satchels, laptops, fees, I have managed to actively engage with the electorate and indeed instilling confidence in the electorate that I can deliver thereby dominating and having leverage over the opposition” .
