MBERENGWA-The Police is appealing for information that could lead to the arrest of suspects in connection with the murder of a 26-year-old man in Mberengwa, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko, Midlands Province spokesperson has said.
According to Mahoko, the incident occurred on June 10, 2025, at around 6a.m.
He said a team of ZRP officers from Mberengwa were on patrol when they discovered Alfred Zhou lying unconscious in a bushy area near Neta Business Center.
“He had a deep cut on his head,” Mahoko said.
He added that the officers rushed Zhou to Neta Clinic, and he was then transferred to Mberengwa District Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Insp Mahoko urged members of the public with information that could assist in the investigation and lead to the arrest of the suspects involved in this tragic incident to report to the nearest police station.
