Mberengwa athlete shines in Dubai

ABU DHABI- Seasoned athlete Bright Shine Muganhu raised the country’s flag high after he scooped two gold medals at the just ended Ultimate Athletics Race Night in Dubai.

The 19year old sprinter came home after finishing the 200 m race in a remarkable 21.76 seconds and also completed the 400m race in 49.08 seconds.

Muganhu who is a member of Elite Athletics Academy coached by top paralympian Eliot Mujaji is thrilled to have won the two races in a competitive environment.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to have won the 400m and 200m events. Huge thanks to my coaches, family, for the support,” he said.
