MASVINGO – The Roman Catholic Church’s newly appointed Bishop of Masvingo Diocese The Right Reverend Raymond Tapiwa Mupandasekwa’s installation date has been set The Midweek Watch can reveal.
According to a Press release by the Gokomere Pastoral Training Centre in The Midweek Watch’s possession, the installation is going to be held on 9 December, 2023 at Gokomere Mission.
Rev Mpandasekwa was appointed as the new Bishop of Masvingo Dioces by the Roman Catholic Church’s Pope Francis and the appointment is with effect from September 15, 2023.
Masvingo Diocese had no substantive Bishop since the resignation of Bishop Micheal Bhasera last year after serving the diocese for 23 years on the bounce.
