MASVINGO-Masvingo Christian College Fashion and Fabrics teacher, Tsitsi Betha Zvinowanda has died
She was 46.
Zvinowanda died on February 21 at West End Hospital Clinic in Harare where she was admitted for the past two weeks after her blood pressure had reportedly gone up.
Christian College Head, Dr Edison Muresherwa confirmed the sad news to The Midweek Watch and said the school and the community at large has lost a dedicated and hardworking educator.
“She was one of our key teachers in the Home Economics Department both at school and district level. This a big loss not only to the family, but all of us in the education fraternity, she has left a big void which will take time to fill,” said Dr Muresherwa.
Zvinowanda was a holder of a Diploma in Education, Bachelor’s Degree in Education and post graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation.
Zvinowanda is survived with two boys, Jairos and Tinotenda.
Burial arrangements had not been made public by the time of publishing the story as the body was still in Harare.
