CHIREDZI- Chiredzi Town Council has appointed Melsen Masukume as its substantive engineer.
The local authority confirmed the development in a statement last week.
“Chiredzi Town Council appointed Engineer Melsen Masukume as the new Director of Works effective 5 January 2026.
Engineer Masukume joins Chiredzi Town Council from Gokwe Town Council where he served as the Director of Works as a Water Engineer ( 2010- 23) .
“The Engineer has more than 20 years of experience in the field and holds a B. Eng Civil and Water Engineering from National University of Science and Technology (NUST). We wish the Engineer success in his new role at Chiredzi Town Council,” reads part of the notice.
