MASVINGO CITY-Youthful prominent Masvingo business mogul Tasunungurwa Marisa who has literally made Alpha Cottages his second home has once again brought smiles to the children housed at the institution.

Marisa donated school uniforms and groceries on Sunday to all Alpha Cottages Children’s Home children.
In an interview with The Midweek Watch Marisa said it is always in his heart to give back to the community and assist vulnerable members of the society. He said he feels motivated by sharing with others especially the underprivileged children.
“This is part of charity work. I am always happy to help the underprivileged members of the community. I am doing this for charity and I don’t have any motives behind this donation. We felt it is prudent to share the little that we have with these children. They should feel loved as we bring smiles on their faces always, ” he said.

Marisa pledged to continue supporting the home and assist the 46 children housed at the age old institution.
Alpha Cottages caretaker Superintendent Chishamiso Lidia Mhizha thanked Marisa for the kind gesture. She also thanked Marisa for pledging to repair her accident- damaged vehicle.

“Yesterday Mr. Marisa once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) at Alpha Cottage Children’s home. He has donated school uniforms, food items and meals for the children. He has also fulfilled his commitment to repair the Superintendent’s vehicle by sending a towing team and the vehicle is currently under repair.
“Alpha Cottages Children’s Home sincerely appreciate the generous support from Mr. Marisa and family,” she said.
