The 2025 Southern Tour Charity Golf Tournament has come to a close, with legal panjandrum Edwin Manikai of Dube, Manikai and Hwacha (DM&H) law firm emerging as the winner.

Interestingly, DMH also one of the sponsors of the tournament, which saw Ratidzo Zimcare trust and Alpha Cottages as beneficiaries from the prestigious annual charity golf tournament.

One of the tournament’s organizers and sponsors, Wilson Seremani of one of the pioneer private educational institutions in the country, Speciss College, expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
“We are thrilled with the turnout of this tournament, and we are grateful to everyone who supported us,” Seremani said.

Brian Fundira of Mhukahuru Resorts, a first-time sponsor of the tournament, also gave his remarks, highlighting the company’s desire to expand its presence in Masvingo for business purposes.
“We are excited to have been part of this tournament, and we are looking forward to establishing a strong presence in Masvingo,” Fundira said.

The tournament was a huge success, raising funds for the two beneficiary organizations. Manikai’s win was an art to his golfing skills, and for his efforts he walked away with a floating trophy and goodies.

The Southern Tour Charity Golf Tournament has once again proven to be a successful platform for giving back to the community, and the organizers are already looking forward to next year’s tourney as the charity will be turning 30 years old.
Seremani was the defending champion of the annual premier charity golf tourney for the region.
