Manicaland Police appeal for identification of accident victims

 UNKNOWN DECEASED WHO DIED AS A RESULT OF ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

DECEASED PERSON      :       UNKNOWN, MALE, ABOUT 1.7M  

                                                          TALL, BLACK HAIR AND DARK BROWN IN COMPLEXION.

RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS                 :       UNKNOWN

CIRCUMSTANCES

On September 12 2023 at 63km peg along Birchenough- Mt Selinda road the deceased who was wearing a blue T-shirt, grey and white striped shirt, black short and a grey trousers was hit to death by an unknown vehicle.          

A report was made to the police who attended the scene.    

Searches were made and failed to locate his identification particulars

Chipinge Traffic is holding the unknown deceased body which is placed at Chipinge District Hospital Mortuary.

      The police would like to advise the general public to be in possession of their identity particulars whenever they are travelling away from their homes.

      The police also warn the public to take care of mentally challenged persons

 HUMAN REMAINS FOUND IN CHIPINGE

CIRCUMSTANCES

On  December 28, 2022  human remains were discovered near Chipinge Tanganda safari area in the bush.

A report was made at ZRP Chipinge Rural and police attended the scene. At the scene identifiable things were found which include a black and red hood jacket and a sleeveless green dress with white floral part from the waist downwards and royal blue on the bottom end.

The post-mortem of the deceased was conducted on  September 14  2023 at Parirenyatwa mortuary, Harare. The post-mortem results showed that the deceased was a female adult of approximate age between 20 to 30 years.    

Searches were made and failed to locate her identification particulars.                                     

ZRP Chipinge Rural is holding the unknown deceased human remains which are placed at Chipinge District Hospital Mortuary.

The police would like to advise the general public to be in possession of their identity particulars whenever they are travelling away from their homes.

The police also warn the public to take care of mentally challenged persons.
