VICTORIA RANGE-Makanaka High School in the biggest high density in Masvingo, Victoria Range’s computer laboratory is now 90% complete.

Plans are that computers and interactive boards should be installed by March 2026.
The lab will be equipped with 50 desktop computers, enabling learners to conduct online research and begin learning about emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Speaking to The Midweek Watch, school head Johnson Gondongwe said that the completion of the computer lab would significantly enhance learning outcomes and prepare students for a technology driven future.
“The computer lab will give our learners access to digital learning resources and practical ICT skills that are essential in today’s world,” he said.
Highlighting on the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council results, he added that the school attained a 43.3 percent pass rate in 2025, an improvement from 33 percent recorded in 2024.

A total of 62 candidates sat for the examinations.
The school recorded a 100 percent pass rate in Textiles Technology as well as Physical Education, Sports and Mass Display in the 2025 examinations.
Other notable results include 87.5 percent in Building Technology and 82.14 percent in Shona Language.
The government-aided institution opened its doors in 2021 and it offers from Form one to Form four.
