ZAKA- The Sub Aqua team has managed to rescue the female adult who was marooned together with two men on an island along Mutirikwi River downstream of Bangala Dam.
The three were marooned after their makeshift canoe capsized yesterday.
Zaka South Member of Parliament (MP) Clemence Chiduwa confirmed the development.
“The Sub Aqua team has arrived and so far they have managed to rescue the female adult. They are still to rescue the males but they have encountered a problem of high water current,” he said.
