MIDLANDS – Ruvimbo Funeral ZIFA Central Region Division One outfit, Shabanie Mine FC have been docked 3 points which were awarded to log leaders TelOne FC after they were found guilty for causing abandonment of the match between the two.

The match, which was played at Maglas Stadium on matchday 10 Sunday June 18, 2023 in Zvishavane, prematurely ended in the 85th minute.
The home fans pelted stones at everyone on the pitch, protesting the referee’s decision to give a free kick that led to a goal.
TelOne won the set-piece on the edge of Shabanie’s box and Blessing Sahondo converted the set piece which agitated the leading to the mayhem that followed and the match being called off prematurely.
After weeks of investigations and perusal of both club’s reports as well as match official’s reports, the Zvishavane based side were found on the wrong side of the laws of the games hence three points were awarded to TelOne.
