JP to seal Uhuru celebrations at Caravan Park

MASVINGO- With independence celebrations being the talk of the nation, the Ancient City is geared for more exciting times as music icon Jah Prayzah is set to put icing on the big cake with his usual scintillating performance at Caravan Park on April 19.

Tickets will be sold at US$1O ordinary and US$20 for the VIP.

Jah Prayzah real name Mukudzei Mukombe will be the main act supported by Munaco Band who are the defending Champions of Chibuku  Road to Fame and other local artists.

The show will be driven by Masvingo pioneer DJs namely Uncle Kauleza real name Augustine Mhembere alongside Masvingo popular C- Rollz real name Roland

Speaking to Midweek Watch Caravan Park Executive Assistant, Tapiwa Godi who is also the resident DJ Maestro said the show is expected to be bigger and better.

He also said Caravan Park will continue to promote local tourism through such events.

“Jah Prayzah is a Zimbabwean music giant who is amongst the best and I am pleased to confirm that he will be here at our very own home.

“There will be full bar and catering and beers will be sold at our normal prices from US$1 for pints and US$1.50 ciders, whiskeys are also available.

“The gates will be opened at our usual time and security will be available to maintain order.

“I also want to assure our fans that there is maximum security.

“People will be in the mood for celebrations and we are expecting a huge turn out, Caravan Park is the best so far in terms of entertainment and with Jah Prayzah coming, we expect a full house,” said Maestro.

The following day Jah Prayzah will be performing at  Pagomba Café in Beitbridge.
