MBERENGWA -History making Jame West FC has been crowned ZIFA Midlands Province Division 2A league champions in style after thumping hapless MSU Zvish FC 3-0 in the only fixture of the midweek.
Next year Jame West will be playing in the second tier ZIFA Central Region Soccer League.
Jame West who are debutants in the league made a flying start to the season which saw them winning 10 consecutive games.
This is the first time any Mberengwa based team has done in the history of the league.
Being a mine owned team from the Madzipa, Jame West exhibited classical footwork masterminded by their gaffer, Ashel Gutu and them winning the league was no fluke as it was evident on the pitch from the beginning of the season.
Mbesa FC and Great Dyke FC who are fellow Mberengwa based teams had the same vision but however faltered along the way over the last few years.
Gutu expressed his gratitude towards the players who were responding to his tactics well and performed diligently throughout the whole season.
