Is ED2030 agenda dead?

Date:

The strong pronouncement by the country’s number 1 citizen that he will step down come 2028 is a welcome development and if it was in a developed economy the counters would have responded likewise.

Urban Connect Beitbridge road bus accident victim’s hand covered with cardboard due to lack of cast.

What a breath of fresh air from President Mnangagwa, now we await him to do the same with his supporters as he did with the Harare based editors.

He should take every opportunity to rally his die-hard supporters to abandon this ED2030 nonsense which is stifling development and dividing citizens.

ED must tell his bootlickers at rallies, social gatherings, Precab Farm and Politiburo that they must stop advancing an unconstitutional agenda which has divided the ruling party through the middle.

It is an unnecessary sideshow that the country can ill afford, worse with images of patients wrapped in card board at Beitbridge Hospital recently, which jammed the internet, due to lack of cast for broken bones.

Those images should jostle the responsible minister into action or resign in shame.

The President should have summoned everyone in the ministry of health and act swiftly on such bad advertising of his leadership.

Instead of talking about ED2030 the country should be focused on improving the health delivery system, rehabilitate Masvingo Beitbridge road which has become so bad that no day passes without an accident being recorded on the impassable detours that are becoming costly to business at large.
