Police in Nyanga have arrested a 24 year old man, Innocent Bore in connection with a murder that occurred on the 24th of September 2025 at Mangondoza Business Centre.
According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police X handle, Bore was involved in a fight with another individual when the victim, Silas Kapanyota (17) attempted to intervene and stop the altercation.
In the heat of the moment, Bore allegedly picked up a stone aiming to strike his opponent, but missed, instead hitting Kapanyota on the head.
The teenager sustained severe injuries and died while being transported to the hospital.
Police have confirmed that Bore is in custody and investigations are ongoing.
