MASVINGO – For the first time ever, Masvingo’s youngest models will have the opportunity to strut their stuff on the catwalk, and compete for the coveted titles of Little Mr & Miss Masvingo (LMMM).

The inaugural LMMM Pageant will hold its auditions on August 3, followed by the main event on August 28.

The groundbreaking event aims to provide a platform for male and female children between the ages of 4 and 12 years.

“It’s going to be an unforgettable experience,” LMMM director Donovan Takaendesa confirmed.

“We have noticed that Masvingo is lagging behind in terms of grooming talent, especially in the modelling sector, and we want to change that.

“As such, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the Little Mr and Miss Masvingo pageant next month in collaboration with the Miss Masvingo Modelling Pageant.

“This event serves as a preliminary competition for the Little Mr and Miss Africa Zimbabwe 2025 pageant. Our objective is to provide a platform for young talent to showcase their skills and prepare them for the national competition. We look forward to a memorable event and a fruitful partnership,” he said.

Takaendesa added that personal trainers will be available for children who would want to continue pursuing a modelling career even after the event.

“Auditions and the actual event will be held at Charles Austin on August 3 and 28, respectively. Therefore, we want to invite parents to register their children with us for a small fee of $5 per kid for a life-changing opportunity.

“However, parents who want to mold their children for a modelling career will have personal trainers delegated to them even after the event, but for an agreed fee,” said Takaendesa.

The event will witness an unforgettable afternoon of fashion, fun, and excitement, and the emergence of Masvingo’s future modelling stars.
